Helping Daddy: Noah really is Daddy's little "helper". Whatever Brian is working on, Noah has to be right there, watching and helping where he can.

Pictures from our freak hail storm. Brian and I woke up at 3 am one night to this horrible, loud pounding sound on the window and looked outside to see all this hail. Each peice of hail was about the size of a marble...and there was a lot of it! It stopped within about an hour, though, and Noah slept through the entire thing.
The wind pushed one chair into the yard and knocked over the other one. The next day on the news it said that the wind had been clocked at 67 miles an hour south of Salina.

Brian and I put the mattress in the living room to sleep because the hail was all coming at the house against our bedroom window and we couldn't sleep! Noah had a lot of fun playing on it.

The deck was completely dry by 10 am the next day! Crazy Kansas weather...
Helping daddy in the yard
Noah's toddler bed! We decided that Noah was ready for a toddler bed and have been waiting for a good time to put it up....he loves it! Brian got it all put together except for connecting the few big pieces so that we would be able to fit it in the door and then Noah helped him get the rest together. He got so excited to crawl into it and play in it...it was adorable! And he has been napping in there pretty well, too!

His first nap in his "big bed", as Noah calls it! He slept in it for about 2 hours.

This was where he was standing when we went in to get him. He seemed really excited about the fact that he wasn't stuck in his crib and could get up when he was done sleeping
Looking out the new screen door that Daddy put in for him. Noah looooooves looking outside so I finally convinced Brian to put in a storm door for us. It is nice because it is on the north side of te house and is covered, so it doesn't get hot like the windows on the south side of the house do. And Noah loves sitting there and playing and being able to look out the windows.

So this was the first time that Noah didn't stay in his bed to nap so I just decided to let him run around until he was ready to take a nap on his own terms. He got really quiet and I went in to check on him and he was just like this--asleep in the corner!

Cool bed. So does this mean the little ones will be sharing a room for awhile? Is Noah excited about being a big brother?

What a doll that Noah is and I love his new bed. Brian is so patient with him during those building projects - neat! And Aunt Cyndi wondered how your belly was looking and I think that's a fair inquiry - so....?
Much love, Grandpa & Grandma Adams
