Silly Kid....

Noah has started to understand the concept of "smiling for the camera" lately...but I think he tries too hard! Whenever he sees the camera now, he runs right up to you, gets right into the camera, and puts the goofiest smiles on his face. And if he is too busy playing to actually run up to the camera, he just stands there and makes the funniest faces!!

Noah and the new face he makes. We like to call it his "wow" face. He does this whenever he does something/sees something/hears something/and otherwise encounters something he things is cool/neat/amazing/new/funny/interesting/pretty/gross/and just about any other adjective you could put in there.

It is just really refreshing because he sees things that are totally normal to us as completely amazing and new.

So imagine this: It is a peaceful Sunday afternoon. The Ring family woke up early, went to church, came home and had an early lunch, after which the boys played and mommy worked on picking up the house. Mommy, tired from her constant efforts at creating human life, decides to take a nap. When she wakes up, she walks into the living room, expecting to see the clean, well picked-up living room she left. Instead, she returns to the above picture!!

It is amazing what a mess boys (and by boys I mean 15 months and almost 24 years) can make in a half hour!

Apparently the cool kids don't wear diapers anymore. Just socks.

Actually, Noah took the diaper off himself! I don't now how he learned to do that so early.

Okay, really, this looks like torture, but Noah loves it! Brian pins him down and blows raspberries on his armpits and sides. Nothing else gets Noah giggling so hard!

So snuggly! It is so rare that Noah falls asleep on us anymore that we cherish it every time we have it!



Thanksgiving! Julius is helping Papa Nana carve the turkey...

Noah has been trying so hard lately to put his shoes on by himself. He can slip it over his tow all by himself! He is such a smart little guy!
