Household Happenings

Little faces look so much better when they have chocolate all over them, don't you think?

Mmmm...chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven.

Aaaah cuddle time.

What a caring big sister. She loves to lay down next to Isaac on the floor and hold hs hands and talk to him, share her silky and try to play. She is VERY gentle with him.

Our new swingset! It is actually Joe and Chelsea's old one, they got a new one so mom and dad carted their old one down here and helped us set it up. The kids love it! We weren't about to pass up a free swingset.

Watching Noah enjoying the new swing set.

Brian was gone on an audit for several days so Mom offered to leave Sarah with us so we would have a guard dog while he was gone and off course we wanted her! Sarah is the sweetest dog ever. We want to steal her. We did NOT want to take her home, but I think she was happy to go home when we dropped her off. The kids LOVED having her here, and I'm happy to say that it convnced Brian that we should have a dog!!!!
So yes, we are looking for a dog :) Not in a hurry, we're going to start making trips to the humane society and looking until we find the right dog. But...yay! WE're looking for one!

Isaac was trying to grab Sarah's tail as she walked by. I love the look on his face when he's watching her. He gets really excited and tries to grab her

Oh Isaac. He is so silly. He loves to stick his tongue out at everyone and he has some of the best facial expressions!

The scary clouds above our house this week. This is looking south, and this is the same storm that caused all the tornadoes in Oklahoma. It had broken up a lot by the time it reached us, thankfully!

Yummy! Making fritatas with fresh kale, spinach, and swiss chard from the garden.

Oh boys....
And this is just a little litany of pictures I thought were super cute of Isaac. I had a mini photo shoot with him because he was in an extra smiley mood. My favorite part: they show how red his hair is getting!!! Yay!!!
