Brian has been wanting to replace the mulch in the front flower beds with rock for quite awhile. We got this huge pile of rock delivered to put in the flower beds along the back of the house, and had enough left over to replace th emulch in the front yard, too. Quite the project...we had to lay the fabric and line the beds and everything (there wasn't anything there before) before we did the rock. Noah had a ton of fun playing on it! And, of course, "helping" Daddy.

We had 16 tons of rock delivered. It was a BIG pile.Morning cuddle time :)
The kiddos cuddled up on our blanket.
Yay Jess! Jess and her boyfriend Matt came to visit us on their trip back home from New York. I had so much fun I forgot to take enough pictures...but I got a few :) Noah LOVED having Jess here! Maybe she should move back closer...hint, hint, Jess!
All dressed up at Grandma Sharon's to head to Lacey and Andrew's wedding reception. Sharon babysat the kids for us during the ceremony.
Bella hanging out in the grass outside.
Noah driving Nana's fancy Lexus!
Reading time! Bella loves books, just like her big brother. It makes her book nerd Momma VERY proud!

Our veggie garden! Tomatoes, peppers, basil, zucchini, cucumbers, more tomatoes, and a couple watermelon plants. Oh, and more tomatoes. Grandpa Meduna used to train the vines of his watermelon, squash, and pumpkins in between rows of his corn fields to keep the weeds down, so my dad suggested we training the vines between our plants to do the same thing.
We need to rock around it (just to make it easier to mow) and come up with more attractive yet removable way to get the chicken wire around it (stupid bunnies) but other than that, we're done! For now. We realize that our garden this year was very, VERY ambitious, and that probably half of everything is going to die, but its a learning experience, right?
And finally...a video of our little walker! Bella took her first steps two weeks ago and is slowly walking more and more. She went through a stage of only walking to me or someone holding her silky, but is starting to walk quite a bit between things, and for longer lengths of time. I can't believe she's getting to big!
