So far, Brian is loving his new job!! He started on the 8th, and has been putting in loooooooong days ever since! He started with training last week. He had to be there at 8 am, work until 5, come home for a little bit, then go back to have dinner with everyone at work. Whew! Now he is actually working on what he'll be doing...although he isn't sure if this is actually the work he'll be doing or if this is just what he will be doing until tax season is over.
He works in the Wealth Creation and Management group at Kennedy and Coe. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but from what I've gathered they handle the 401ks and other retirement planning. There are only 7 people in Brian's group ( it is the smallest group in the company) and he of course is the junior guy in it, so right now they have him doing a lot of the grunt work--reconciling statements, etc. I guess time will tell if this is what he will be doing or if it will get more exciting for him! But so far, he is loving it. He has met some great people which is really great--for him and for me!

And because inquiring minds wanted to know...Brian drove to work on his first day! He told me he didn't want to feel like a kindergartner on his first day of school :)

Brian, it looks like you are enjoying your job, it sounds very
impressive and not at like "grunt" work. Love to the three of you, g'ma and g'pa ring.
